Republicans will always remain in the race for one simple reason---they are willing to say anything, no matter how irrational, when it comes to taxes. It is their best issue---because they can lie, people know they are lying, and it does not matter to them when they are lied to about taxes.

I heard on CNN last night that WV was Hillary territory basically, and I'm paraphrasing, because the people there are white, old and stupid.

Kevin should kick their ass.

Have a little more McCain kool-aid.

So noble, but his terrible minions made him do it.

I cry for John McCain. I really do.

On CNN today, Obama was asked about McCain's making an issue of a Hamas official's supportive words for Obama.
Obama responded with the same sort of high-road message that seems to have worked fairly well against the gas tax holiday: The suggestion, he said, was "offensive," and furthermore a mark that McCain is "losing his bearings" as he pursues the presidency.
"My policy toward Hamas is no different than his," said Obama, who called McCain's comment a "smear."
McCain's people are outraged. "Losing his bearings".

Olbermann tonight with quite a scoop. K.O. has apparently got it from an unimpeachable source that Howard Wolfson is setting up a book deal.

Why's that a thing? Well, in professional sports, if your team's unsigned free-agent sells his house, that's a good sign that he's heading out. In politics, if a guy signs a book deal, it means he's probably not planning on being, say, part of an election campaign until November of 2008, or part of a White House until 2016. No, it means you plan on having some free time available.

Wolfson tried denying it vehemently to Chuck Todd and Olbermann both, saying that he has "no plans to write a book (at least about this campaign)". To which Olbermann responded "I didn't say it was about the campaign", implying that a book is a book is a book--whatever it's about, it sure won't be done by someone working a general election campaign for president.

They thought it meant incontinence.

The difference between McCain and Obama is clear.

McCain navigates using a sextant and Obama navigates using a GPS receiver.

I have not been around this week until this morning.

I officially declare it over. The butt kicking in NC was the end...but Hillary is going to keep going anyway. Gotta love her.

If there was a do over in California and some of these other big states Hillary won---I wonder how some of her latest comments---designed to move her to the political center where those white guy Reagan votes are---would affect things.

Quote:
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― California voters would change their February primary vote for Hillary Clinton to a vote for Barack Obama if the vote were held again, according to an exclusive poll commissioned by CBS 5.

While voters in the California Democratic Presidential Primary backed Clinton by a 10-point margin, a new SurveyUSA poll shows that if given the chance to vote again, Californians would choose Barack Obama by a 6-point margin, 49%-43%.

The poll was conducted on May 7 and 8 and has a margin of error of 4%.
by the way---their last poll before the election:

Est. MoE = 3.3% [?]
Hillary Clinton52%
Barack Obama42%
