I'm not sure of the details, but the Reds seem to have batted out of order in the 9th...and they lose 8-3. Well, at least it wasn't close or anything...

1 hit through 6 2/3. Then 7 in the 8th inning alone. Make it 8-3 going into the bottom of the 9th.

Berkman did come out of the game before the start of the 9th. He was a little gimpy after scoring in the big 8th inning. I'm hoping it isn't anything major.

Valverde has to come in to shut it down after Brocail gives up a couple. Doug had a major meltdown in the dugout and took it out on a folding chair....he is going to have to pay for that.

Chacon ties a record with his 8th straight no decision to start a season. Of those 8 starts he has had quality starts in 6 of them. Not even an almost no hitter could stop another ND.

AndrUw Jones had the day off. Needed a rest from all the boooooing.

Don't look now, but Pittsburgh has won 6 in a row...

Tied with Milwaukee, in fact.

Tampa Bay entered tonight's game 5 games over .500 for the first time in franchise history. Huzzah!

And they lead the Yankees 6-0 through six innings.
