Richie Sexson charges the mound on a pitch not even close to hitting him. It was high but if it were a couple of feet lower it would have been a strike.

Ranger announcesr ripping him. Calling him out as a shitty hitter.

Dammit - I was just watching that game and turned it off.

However, I was watching the Seattle feed. Have you ever listened to those guys? They sound like they should be doing a golf tournament. When I first turned it on I thought that the audio was out on the broadcast end because there was no talking for so long. It was actually kinda nice though.

For some reason the Seattle feed is blacked out on my Extra Innings. Well, actually I know why, for some reason they think I'm in a Dallas market.

I was on the game mix channel and all of the sudden I see some dude charging the mound in one of the little boxes. I was waiting for Milton Bradley to go nuts. Didn't happen.

its odd, but we get a mix up of ads. some will be from the houston/arlington area while others will be from here (gotta stuff local car ads in). but houston has some weird power commercials, at least they did last year.

FYI, the Cubs are apparently facing Max Scherzer tomorrow. You all know who he is, right?

Dan Haren goes today against Lilly.

And the ivy's starting to bloom - not quite there yet.

Chris Young starts the game with a HR. Deja Vu.

Well, I guess he didn't lead off, but it was the first pitch to him.

Haren IBB's Reed Johnson with 2 out and 1st base open (runner on 2nd) to pitch to Ted Lilly.....and he rips it back up the middle for an RBI single.

Sori doubles, and the Cubs lead 2-1! What a turnaround!

Lance Berkman continues to be red hot by going 3 -4 last night with a homer and a double. It was his 6th straight multi-hit game. Second in average with .380. Second in homers with 12. Second in RBIs with 35. First in slugging. First in OPS.

Brian Moehler of all people throw 5 scoreless for the win. Only 1.5 out of first but there is a long road trip in front of the team.

Apparently Soriano somehow scored from first on a single, and it's 1-0 Cubs.

Wheeeeew, just saw it on the cut-in...looked out.

Snakes lead 2-1 because Lou left Dempster in too long (more or less)....I think he threw around 115 pitches.

They actually mentioned on the Fox broadcast that he grew up a huge Cardinal fan (I'm serious) and that he really hated the cubs and Mark Grace (who was doing color for the game).

He is 19 for his last 25 ABs. There is only one other player who has done that in the last 50 years. I'm sure people can guess who that is.
