Oh, I get it, but do you? You can root for a team to defeat another and not be a fan. For instance, I'll root for the Cubs to defeat a team looking to overtake Stl in a heartbeat, but promptly resume my hatred for Chicago once their series is over.

Fact is, you have rooted for the Mavs when they've played against SA. Or are you simply saying you root against SA anytime, regardless of who they play? You'll probably indicate the latter, and that's cool. Thing is, however, your vitriol for SA is always on full display, as has - it seems - your defense of Mavs players, so what is one to assume? I've differentiated you from ppg, a true Mavs fan. But if you are not, your previous posts in defense of Mavs players over the years (not to mention the team as a whole) is very misleading. Either way, it's not that critical one way or another. Just find it interesting how you continue to play the same annual tune about the same team.
